For everyone at XCELERATE GYMS, it’s hard to believe that just over a year ago, our first site in Edgware opened its doors to its 1000+ new members!
We were built to be different with an unrivalled and unrelenting determination to deliver the most well thought through, well designed membership offers based on products and services that are designed to support every member of the family to help them achieve their X.
This would all begin at our first site to set our stall out as the positive disruptor in the gym franchise market. Thanks to the tireless work of our team and trusted partners, we were able to open XCELERATE GYM Edgware in the face of a global pandemic, with over 1000 members! A year on and the gym continues to go from strength to strength and is playing a central role in helping large numbers of people from the local community to get fitter, healthier and feel XCELERATED after every gym visit!
Previously a combat sport gym, the site was secured by the XCELERATE GYMS property team, with the construction managed by the Project Management team to deliver an open gym on time and on budget with a best-in-class fit out that makes the gym really stand out in the local area.
With the pre-sale starting in December 2020 and having been run all the way through lockdown, the gym’s membership numbers increased rapidly. This meant it was in a profitable position from day one, a truly outstanding achievement and a great position on which to build as more and more members came through the doors to join XCELERATE.
It’s testament to the brand, the products we have available to members, and our overall positioning that we have seen real buy-in and engagement from the local community that continues to grow a year after first opening.
Events such as GB Week and the inaugural X-Nation Cup have seen a engagement from the full membership, and we can’t wait to take that feeling across the country as we work to establish XCELERATE as the UK’s most exciting gym franchise and show our members and franchisees why we are Made Better, Made Different and Made for Everyone!
And its not just the members at XCELERATE GYM Edgware that have had an unbelievable 12 months, our first franchisee, Hardip Sandhu, has really benefited from the support of our team and our industry-leading partners, who helped ‘XCELERATE’ him into his next business venture.
